Welcome to Hand's Counseling Department!
Hand Middle School offers a comprehensive developmental guidance program addressing the social/emotional, academic and career aspects of students' development. The program includes classroom guidance, individual counseling, small group counseling, career and academic planning. Counselors also work closely collaborating and consulting with parents, teachers and the community.

Speakers from the University of South Carolina, Midlands Technical College, Midlands Education and Business Alliance and Heyward Career Center will provide us with information as you begin to plan for your child’s future!
Information will also be given out concerning registration for Dreher High School.
