Volunteers to help out on the Friday after Thanksgiving morning, November 29, for our Shandon Neighborhood Turkey Trot and Burn 5K, which will be held at 10am, starting near Hand at the corner of Blossom and Woodrow.  We need volunteers to do everything from help set up tables, place water and bananas out for the runners, and multiple other tasks, including cheering runners on.  We would love to have them register for the race as well if they'd like.  The link to sign up is:  https://runsignup.com/Race/SC/Columbia/ShandonTurkeyTrotBurn5K

An ongoing volunteer opportunity. We have place a pet Poop Station at the corner of Duncan and King Street.  Currently I am the one responsible for emptying the contents (a lot of poop!) about every 2 to 3 days.  It would be fantastic to have a group from the school help with this task.  Please contact 446-6439 if interested.
